On January 20th 1982 the Brazilian soccer legend Garrincha died. Outside of Brazil he never was better known than Pele, and his slender fame is decreasing, even Pele acknowledged Garrincha's skill as being fundamental in Brazil winning its first three World Cup winners medals.
