No note today, since I'm sick and needing to write a short something for an application about my teaching philosophy. I can't post it here, because it would then involve complicated explanations that their bright, shiny grad student sometimes blogs under the name taken from a fantasy novel. Unless of course I was applying for a course in Quenya.
Chuck was fun last night. Cheese-puff addiction is dangerous, so it was good to see Zachary Levi and co. warn the world of that. Also, in the first episode of the double-header was the song "Backwards Walk" by the band Frightened Rabbit. Just talking about the band leaves me with Glaswegian accent. I hope to have something up about linguistics tomorrow.
